the ID3 info says that this was written in 2002, but it's in my February 2003 folder... so I'm not sure about the date on this. this track has an ambient beginning but moves into a dirty beat-oriented soundscape. But just as soon as that comes, it's back to a soundtrackish type ambience with somewhat of an underlying beat... and then back to beats... it's quite disturbing how easily this track bounces around. Credits: loop by baker - blind mime, phinney - mental anguish, international garbagemen, DeVico, klao dna, virus factory, peeler, melodywhore. Genre: Experimental. Created: 17 Mar 2006 02:03 AM. this track was written back around the same time as want... so 2001 sometime. you may be able to recognise some of the loops from different loop libraries... I've played with these loops so many times, I can almost draw the cover art with my tongue. if anyone wants a demonstration, drop me an email. ;] anyway, these loops were manufactured by melodywhore, ingram, international garbagemen... enjoy! Credits: loops by melodywhore, ingram, international garbagemen. Genre: Industrial. Created: 13 Mar 2006 03:38 PM. Plays: 839 -->please comment (0).
this song was written in march of 03 and uses loops by sin ned, mcdonald, carr, phinney, and melodywhore. an interesting side note about the title: this track, I believe, marked the last track I submitted to tapegerm before I left the collective. hmm... Credits: loops by sin ned, mcdonald, hebephrenic, mental anguish, and melodywhore. Genre: Darkwave. Created: 13 Mar 2006 03:30 PM. Plays: 931 -->please comment (0).

melodywhore began as melody's a whore back at the beginning of 2000. it started as an extension of the synthdog project and eventually became its own entity. the synthdog project was entirely experimentation starting with Acid Pro v1.0. Taking existing loops and editing them as well as creating his own loops, james discovered a different way of expressing himself in music. having just sold all of his equipment to fund a cross-country move, this enabled him to continue with music but was quite a change from sequencing. never-the-less, the results proved to be rewarding. the first melodywhore song was called a brief moment which was followed by grace and many others. using stand-alone synth apps on the computer, james was creating melody loops and taking them into sound forge to edit them in different ways, sometimes destructive. each new song helped in the learning process in adapting to using a PC for musical creation. after joining Acidplanet and mp3.com in early 2000, james met a number of artists that were doing the same thing he was, trying to self-promote online. it was through these connections that he was introduced to tapegerm and in 2001, he signed up.
in the beginning to mid 2003, met with some personal struggles, james took a break from music and stepped down from tapegerm. but later that year, he joined a band project that was headed by an old vocalist he worked with back in 94-95, Dawn Mescher.
in march of 2005, dawn mescher joined melodywhore as a permanent vocalist. dawn and james have a music history that goes back ten years. they're currently signed on the torched records label. individually, james has worked with a few members of the acidplanet community including paul taylor, gesaba, maite, internal faith relation, temperance, backroom machine, bill jehle, shakz, upon eventual collapse, and a shadow industry. melodywhore has also won two Acidplanet contests, the Better Living Through Circuitry contest and the Tweaker Microsize Boy contest.
