I've recently found it very liberating to build a song around someone else's sample. It seems to relieve some of the self-consciousness and doubt that I feel when I'm coming up with everything myself. Thanks Tapegerm! This piece uses a great dental drill sample acquired at "The Freesound Project" website http://freesound.iua.upf.edu/index.php

Mental Anguish said, "A sonic drilling has taken over my ear goggles & bored its way though my eardrums & into my brain! Excellent mix here!"

davefuglewicz said, "Very smokable composition, the beats is beating at just the right fevered pitch, the mix is superior. Oh yeah!"

padukem said, "By meshing a familiar instrument of torture within an otherwise pleasant mix of bouncy beats and spacey sonics, the Sleepy Turkey has here genuinely challenged my senses of well-being with a mere recording. This is a rare accomplishment in the world these days, and I offer a tip of my own Turkey sombrero in respect."
