What would happen if you killed someone by accident, but it looked sooooo much like you did it on purpose ? Better bury him in the garden and never speak of it again, thats what ...

The Graveyard
611 plays
04:41
Genre: Dark Ambient
Album:

You are just one little piece of the universe, your made of stardust... if you will. When you sit and think about said universe, it is that universe thinking about itself, you're nothing to do with it. In fact, "you are not" is an adequate way to describe you, and me, and everyone else... and we're all going back where we came from, in the cold dark ground.

The Witchdoctor
3694 plays
05:20
Genre: Trip Hop
Album:

You know when one is sat in ones house minding ones own affairs, and unbeknown to you a witchdoctor voodoo man has sneaked into the room without you noticing, bewitched you with a didjereedoo riff and crushed your very bones with 50hz basslines and 303esque squigglers ? terrible business, that.

A Mellow didjereedo drone based sleazey 303 groove suitable for acid heads and other assorted journeyers of various persuasions and directions that may or may not be going anywhere near where this track is bound, which is nowhere, and thats what matters isnt it? No, is the answer to that.

Battle of the Bells
2003 plays
06:36
Genre: Big Badd & Ugly
Album:

I recently wondered, whos got the best bell, an Ensoniq Mirage or a Korg M1? Well, what proceeded was a messy and gruelling attempt to find out.

Both keyboards on opposite sides of the room, Mirage on the left, M1 on the right, snarling at each other with keys like gritted teeth, who was going to win? and the battle commenced.

The warm dark sound of the Mirage bell made an appearance, eerie and atmospheric as it was, the M1 was having none of this and fought back immediately with its clanking evil Tubular Bell.

The computer meanwhile, was furious about the whole affair, these two old beasts getting all the attention. It spat forth a beat, a stupid crazy fly slamming beat after an Ice-T fashion.

As the battle went on, a Supernova sat perched under the desk just taking care of all matters bass related as usual. Smugly antagonised the participants, teasing them with some non bell crunchy rhythm sounds.

Needless to say I ended up getting dragged into this mess, fighting the faders to try and keep everything in some sort of order, all the microchips in the room were now involved in someway, all jostling for position, trying to get their sound noticed.

It didnt help matters when Cystems grinding guitars appeared in the mix providing even more anger to fuel the warring chips and keyboards.

After about 4 minutes I could take no more and was killed in battle. As far as I know the war is still going on and all I can do now is hope to God that Cystem makes it out of there alive, or at least his soul manages to escape the sonic filth somehow.

Good luck squire.

Mental Anguish listened to Lets Bury Him In The Garden on 12/31/07 18:54:25 and said: "Thats some piano intro going on here super nice :-) Dirty filthy beats, grinding basslines, piano parts flowing along nicely caressed by some lush synths, wild vox parts for good measure :-) all flowing rather nicely with some didge for punctuation. Piano's back again in the outro, So I say Top Track "Q" Top track indeed! I may have to bury this one in my garden, should help it grow I say :-)"
