Voiceless is the ethereal brainchild of James Hopkins (mercy suite/servitude/le deux/tapegerm/as swans we drift), now joined by Joanna Dalin (the mirror reveals/backworld). They are at the helm of several projects including the upcoming "sonya" (spay or neuter your animal) compilation cd series that will be found across the usa, cdsod (an online community in the making for indie artists and filmmakers), etc. Their first collaboration - "Gaze" (with lyrics by The Unquiet Void's Jason Wallach) - is featured in the trailer for and a scene of acclaimed director Young Man Kang's new film, The Last Eve. Independently of Voiceless, James composed the score to the film. James was just interviewed for the debut issue of California Magazine "Vivid Looking Glass." In addition, an instrumental version of "Gaze" was included for the compilation cd that comes with it.

i'm thinking about creating a kind of ethno-world-electro-beat cd- imagine delerium meeting enigma- but with the majority of tapegerm creating the sounds :) hopefully some of you will be into this cd! I really think it'd be a great thing to do-
