After a late career of herding the enemies of the Revolution towards the guillotine, the reward of Robespierre is stability and the end of the Terror. However, Robespierre's personal Terror is but beginning as the affright of his governmental compatriots fearing his power grows intentions and brawny forarms and Robespierre is himself sent to the blade, though not without screeches, screams and flailing. It was not mentioned to him that King Louis did far better in a similar circumstance.
