A bit of progressive electronica with a middle eastern feel. First track I have recorded in 6 months took a bit of a break I guess. Not that I do not have ideas just other things more pressing lately. Use your ear goggles as its very ear goggle friendly. This track is not only a TG track but a remix of datawhores Olivier, The Point Is & The Nature Of My Dream. I used certain samples from each one. 6 months ago I planned on remixing all 3 tracks as I had done all the other ones that datawhore had offered up. Then about 3 months ago while at work I decided to do a combo of the 3, I had heard all the material so I pretty much knew what I wanted to do with it as well as the Buzzy & Anti - G loops. Just had to find the time to compose the thing & add my stuffing. Enjoy the madness if you will. Photo is one I took in Jamaica a few months ago. Same with blog photo.

noisician said, "Really liked this one. The mid-eastern sounding sitar/guitar thing and backing vocals worked great together, and the spoken samples were good and creepy! Nice groove too."

Shell said, "i'm quite infatuated with this dream...."

omnitechnomatrix said, "Great Slice Of Tribal Kwelness! Shifting Threw Awesome Beats And Vocal Smoothness... Killer Work MA! Peace!"

Don Campau said, "Beautifully uplifting and infectious, this track pleases me much and makes me feel good. High quality ethno sampling, hip shaking goodness. "

Edrury said, "Great stuff! Love the narratives and exotic sounds. Great beats! I wasn't sure what progressive electronica was, but if it's this I like! Some really awesome vocal tracks in there, great mix. Very entertaining listen."

evelynzzeeb said, "Wow, just wow. I am rendered speechless by that piece. I have recently been getting into World rhythms and you have created something here that defines words. "Awesome" seems somehow lacking as a descriptor here. Bravo, sir, bravo! "

padukem said, "The ghosts of John and George and the auras of Paul and Ringo have cast a magic spell on the living Chris! That drum beat and bass line are quite familiar... Sing with me now, "Turn Off Your Mind Relax And Float Downstream." And, of course, the sounds of the sarod, the sitar, the santoor, and the sarangi mingle with the washes of western instruments with that "Within You Without You" sort of interplay. Eleanor Rigby lived in a dream. But Chris, he is living a dream... "

coruscate said, "Nicely mixed, I missed quite a bit of the lyrics along the way, but it sounds really nice and keeps your attention in spite of the length. This would sit nicely on any chill CD or any cafe background soundtrack."

datawhore said, "Time for the humble '**** to tip his fez in the comment direction on this Oriental-mental masterwork. Tapegerm artists often surprise and gratify me with their innovations but I am sure nobody here will mind this pilgrim placing this high in the pantheon of loop legend. Weird, wired, an oasis for the weary traveler in sound. Most albums haven't half as much fascination as this shorter but longer luxury listening experience. "

buzzsaw said, "In this company, I arrived at Agra, the capital of Indostan, the city in which the Great Mogul resides, and wherever I went, I found a certain song that was praised and held as worth of the finest venerations, one that was held in the same signal esteem as the works of the ancient poets in Indostan. I was informed that it was the province of Poetry to describe Nature and Beauty and Passions, and this mix had enrolled the name of Mental into this illustrious fraternity of greats. It clothed the air as aromatic, it quickened the pace of a heart and compelled all to transports of joy, and myself was soon enrolled in the exalting. To continue on my travels is utterly impossible, to see the storied city of the Seres in Thina, to behold the encircling Ocean now no longer matters, the destination of me glee is arrived at. (The Travels of Buzzicus Quadratus)"

Solaris said, "I love the eastern and folky elements in this mix. A cross cultural tripped out delight, which is candy to my ear goggle friendly ears. "She moved through the fair"."

davefuglewicz said, "Quite a tour de force, wow what can I say, loopage from the reaches of the world, filtered with the lyricism of one of my favorite Poe-ets, rambling along, subtly exploding my brainpan to jeweled grokments."

CYSTEM said, "well worth the wait man, i can hear the Jamaican influence, nice collage of sounds..."

hebephrenic said, "Trippy ear goggle piece. Nice to see a new track from you. Now I guess I ought to get one working too!"
