ELOMD 2824 plays of 2 songs --> tapegerm home
ELOMD started making music in Athens, GA, in the late 90's. Then space aliens destroyed 90% of their music with heat rays, leaving only sorrow in their wake. Suddenly, in the distant land of Seattle, ELOMD once again fires up its electric lights and points its orchestra to maneuver in eclectic new directions!
ELOMD Top 10 This Week : -141- 4 in the Morning Electro (6) -174- Godspeed (5)

TRACK LISTING ( play all hifi ) | ( play all lofi )

4 in the Morning Electro
1,620 plays
06:08
Genre: Electronica

Composed almost entirely from Tapegerm loops, with a couple hats, kicks, and other small nonsense thrown in. Half-inspired by the music being listened to in that scene in "Shaun of the Dead" -- 'It's electro,' mumbled Ed. Credits: Free Loop Project 012 - an ELOMD creation featuring loops from Electroearwig, Omnitechnomatrix, Virus Factory, Heuristics Inc., D Howse, Hebephrenic, and International Garbageman.

Godspeed
1,204 plays
06:08
Genre: Electronica
Album: default

Just whipped this one together, and hunted for nice vocal/voice hooks to match its nice bass... finally settled on transmissions between John Glenn and ground control during the first American manned earth orbit. Credits: Free Loop Project 012 - an ELOMD creation featuring Omnitechnomatrix, D. Howse, Electroearwig, and Heuristics Inc. for loops. Also thanks to John Glenn for having the balls to orbit the earth in Friendship 7.

"The John Glenn / mission control samples are weaved into everything else expertly. This piece has a great revolving progression to it, providing interesting stuff throughout. God speed, ELOMD."

Just put up my second Tapegerm Loop Project mix... with the sugary additive of John Glenn transmissions from space. Warning to luddites: contains sciencey stuff. Now without Splenda! Eerily enough, and this happened totally without planning, this track is EXACTLY the same length as "4 in the Morning Electro." *shudder* Spooooky synchronicity! I'd make it my 'trademark,' but it would be a real pain to make sure songs were 6:08 every every time.

Well, I'll be a green-assed monkey...

You found us here. We thank you for finding us. Please, come, sit, eat some music. We love it when you eat our music. It makes our bellies swell with confidence. And berries. Because when we are confident, the berries pick easier. And everyone loves easy-pick berries. If you wish to tell us if the music (or berries) taste good to you, please, email us (address obfuscated to avoid spambottage): that_keith AT hotmail DOT com And give the monkeys berries someday.
