Only samples from the free loops sample pack are used. No other synth. I reused the samples with CronoX3, the Fruity Granulizer and Absynth 4. In the Absynth patch there was only one inharmonic osc used to get that Predator blips like sound in the background.

The lead was sample amb3.wav. Background noice was made from a snippet from sample Amb1.wav mixed with HInc-FLP12-Blipps and a inharmonic osc. The rythm texture was made from CYST_MSNT06_18synthseq.wav

Having spent the better, or at least indifferent portions of the last 15 years or so on the periphery of various too-well defended musical scenes alerted to my presence in a creative Scythia releasing cassette, vinyl and CD indie morsels perfectly spiced to tempt the appetite of Folly, I drew too near to Tapegerm and I was captured in a wend of loop, and in the ensuing struggles to free myself, a fresh provision of Folly decided to call the result a mix. More mixes are forth through ninecoming, but I hesitate to say more as double-digits provoke a bad elevation sickness. Ah, but I seem to be green already, as green as the tracks to be found over at VBC BROADCASTING-Very Bad Considering Broadcasting-Considering what? I've uploaded 143 meg of new open loops for y'all to have fun with.
They are available by clicking on the Loop Projects link at the top of most of the Tapegerm pages. Of course you must have a fully activated account & be logged in to get them.

I composed these loops for use at the Tampa Noise Fest in June of this year. I didn't use all of them and not all the permutations are included with these new loops.

After numerous delays in 2006 and 2007 we decided to go ahead and offer the 9 track "Codetalkers" album as a CD image + jpegs download to anyone that wants a copy. This can be found at Mike Dickson's web-site http://www.mikedickson.org.uk/codetalkers. You will need all of the control files (ISO, CDT & CUE) to burn the disk since it is > 76 mins long.

The 9 tracks of world-fusion/spacerock/progressive electronica are laid out as three "sides" with track cross-fades/stop-start of tunes. Going the CD d/l route allows you to experience the album the way we intended it to be heard.
