Greetings. . . Tapegerm began in May 2000. We are group of musicians and sound artists creating loop based music. We contribute loops to a pool that can be used by other Tapegerm artists to create new music and conversely create our own new music from the loops provided by other Tapegerm loop artists. Essentially, we share bits of sound, and the end results of what we do with them. We invite guest artists from time to time to share loops of their music. The pool is always changing and the music is revealed in movements by 100's of artists realizing their own vision of things. We welcome artists to join us. Listeners will find a diverse body of music on the site, freely streaming in many different ways. Randomly or assembled. By style or by any chosen word. You may join our community as a resident artist or as a listener. Members can interact with others in the community and be a part of music making without boundaries. |
