WHAT IS THIS?
Free Loop guest artist pages offer a selection of royalty-free loops either directly submitted by guest artists or extracted from CD's available from the artist.
The idea here is for loop-based composers to download the loops and use them to create a new song or unique mix, freely adding any elements they desire.
Once you sign up for an account & put your info & band image & create a mix using loops from the Free Sample Pack & upload it.Your account will be activated further & you will have access to the loops,sign up for an account HERE.Project is closed.
In addition, once we've collected an album's worth of material we will assemble it onto a CD which should further promote your efforts.

The loops here are royalty free and resulting mixes can be released by Tapegerm, the Free Loop Guest artist, and the artist making the mix in whatever fashion they choose. It's the sort of viral distribtution method we like.

The Engineer
The Engineer is the recording alias of electronic & experimental
music producer Kristian Day. He combines
vintage electronic equipment, customized software, and self-built electronics.
By trade he is a bass player and synthesist, but does not leave himself
to those. Aside from the electronics, he is also known to use a variety
of tribal instruments as well, many of which are purchased from thrift
stores(toy drums, flutes, etc) and recorded in various bathrooms. His
influences have included Genesis P-Orridge, Cevin Key, Mark Spybey, Merzbow
and Kevin Moore. He has recorded under various names including Kwaidan,
PxFxFxI, S.O.S.,
and The Sound Tribe.
