Fever Spoor

Fever Spoor is the main project of Marcel Herms who also runs the label Anima Mal Nata (The Netherlands). The music of Fever Spoor is a mixture of noise concrete sounds and processed field recordings. Sometimes the result is loud and dirty harsh noise but the outcome can also be dark ominous ambient. And everything in between. Fever Spoor has released many recordings on Anima Mal Nata, often in collaboration with other sound artists, as well as on all kinds of international underground labels. Herms is also an accomplished visual artist and his neo-primitivist paintings, drawings and comics adorn all of his CD covers, as well as the walls of many galleries and web pages all over the world. Herms cites William S. Burroughs, Lucebert and Art Brut as his main influences.
