Nearly every sound in this song is the result of my futzing around with Dave's voice. Very little of it is actual guitar loops. Slowing down musical notes produces great effects; but slowing down voices is even more bizarre. Dave's voice starts at the very beginning, but you'd probably never guess it. This is another version of my Eulogy for the Restless Dead series. The vocals are provided by Buzzsaw, reading three selections of poetry from my Perfunctory Movements novella. He translated, and then read them in German. The man is worthy of great praise. The loop from Dave was from his Multimedia procession wound its way down the stairs pausing once to reload. The loop of mine was a bit of my Spiders Lair song. Both of them were softly and carefully mangled in the Wave Pad music program. I changed the title slightly, as it seems more fitting. The first song to come out of my Hidden Voices project. Each selected portion of submitted loopage was slowed by at least 25%, and most were amplified many times to bring the hidden voices out. Zee has been creative since the very beginning. Some of his first creative projects involved pencil and paper. Shunning crayons as being too far inside the lines for his outlaw tastes, he graduated to drawings in ink, then onto oil painting. Zee discovered computer art programs in the late 90's, immediately declared oil painting dead, and started transforming his ideas into pixels. From pixels of color to pixels of fonts was his next graduation. Once he realized that using just words was too confining, he discovered that transforming audio loops into creative sound sculptures was very fulfilling and gave him a broader audience to enjoy his creations. All of his works are certified * Ear Goggle Friendly *
Zee only speaks of himself in the third person when he is writing bios, because in real life, such mannerisms sound pretentious. Zee is a lot of things, but pretentious isn't one of them.
