Thelonious Octopus
Space Baby 03:16/192k
"Hal McGee open loops???" you ask, perplexed as you hear none of the familar strains of the ethereal theremin. However, they are there, trust me, used almost exclusively to sculpt this sonic creation.
Taking Hal's theremin loops, I converted them to MIDI and opened the MIDI files in Fruity Loops and had some interesting fun with them in there, and layered the loops together.
Also present is my own voice, also translated into MIDI and further twisted with FL. It created a space language all it's own. Credits: Hal McGee Open Loops. Genre: Experimental. Created: 14 Oct 2005 11:48 PM. Plays: 581

Painless Suicide in Deep Dark Space 03:53/192k
This is not my first attempt at trying to do a cover song (you should hear some songs I mutilated on my early cassettes!) but this is the first one that turned out well enough that I thought others might want to hear it.

On the Good Spaceship Campau... "Well done........Captivating listening to the changes throughout the song." -- (posted 09/27/05)
On the Good Spaceship Campau... "And a few more pages are turned by the skilled tentacles of our Mollusc Maestro in his seemingly continuing yarn that at this point now seeks to reassure one and all; the palms and crystal blue waters of sunny Italy, a rush of diplomats tarantelling about in Ventimiglia and then a flourish of pens and paper is scrawled upon and Rapallo is signed at once. Thelonius then sweeps an adept and talented tentacle skyward to tint the sky rosy with hope, and then down to tint the glasses red with barolo or barbaresco. And it is a very good vintage indeed, the best, as head swims with pleasure, drinking and listening to his latest triumph. Bravissimo, Octopus Optimus!" --buzzsaw (posted 09/26/05)
