G-Day was a 24-hour live Internet collaboration event hosted by Tapegerm. Beginning at 6 PM, October 1, 2005, tapegerm loop artists began creating and uploading loops for mix artists to download and create new music using only these loops. The idea was to create an album in one day. And, 24 hours later, 17 tracks had been created and a great time chatting, looping, and mixing was had by all.

We have made artwork and tracks available to download here so you can create your own CD if you wish. Simply right-click on each item to download it to your computer:

The label is in JPEG format, while the inserts are in PDF format.The CD features just the tracks in the list at the right which were completed that day. To download the tracks, clicking on the title to each track will take you to its song information page where you can download it.

We are offering the album for free download, however, a small donation (you decide) to help us pay bandwidth costs is most appreciated.

Alternately, you may purchase the CD ready-made and shipped to your door by clicking the "get it" button below. Purchased CD's are available in standard audio format OR you may purchase a CD containing all the wonderful G-Day loops (300+MB) in CD-quality 16-bit WAV format and all the tracks in mp3 format.
