Explortation Recuperation 04:00/320k
This one follows/continues/builds on part of "Explortation Meditation". I think it just uses one Tapegerm loop, and even that one's been mangled up a bit. Credits: Chuck Hoffman. Genre: Bloody Hell. Created: 08 Jan 2012 10:30 AM. Plays: 17

Explortation Meditation 09:38/320k
Part of an album in progress called Explortation, loosely built around jamming on top some old tapes of me mucking about with a guitar and digital delay, but also finding some Tapegerm loops getting sprinkled in. They don't come in until about the last 1/3 or this one; I think they came from the 12-pack project and some other package. I can probably dig up which exact loops they are if requested. Tapegerm chipPad piece #1 14:23/192k
Sorry for the lame title. It's my first Tapegerm thing and also my first thing made with chipPad, and I didn't have much more of a concept in mind than to compose and play something, and record it

chuck hoffman is a musician based in des moines, iowa, a member of various bands and things that resemble bands only superficially, and an obsessive music nerd with a preference for the unusual. his music activities are relatively free of commercial concerns since he makes a reasonable living writing code for web sites; lucky for him, he has a passion for that too.

"Massive blocks of feedback gorged riffage transports me to a different world. Crazed composition foh sure!" -- David Fuglewicz (on 01/16/12 19:31:56)
"Is it weird that I find myself singing along to these tracks? Incidentally, if you credit the loops you use (author and/or project) your recording will show up on those profile and project pages. It's cool to hear how source material changes and evolves from track to track. and I love where you're taking things. " -- Blind Mime (on 01/09/12 08:19:19)
"I love this piece. The sounds are beautiful -- crunchy and chaotic -- painting an unusual picture. " -- Blind Mime (on 01/08/12 16:24:09)
